New ABT ballet by Twyla Tharp |

Twyla Tharp, veteran choreographer for the American Ballet Theatre, has created a new ballet for ABT's spring season that will premiere on June 3, 2008. Tharp has previously choreographed 15 pieces for the American Ballet Theatre. Danny Elfman was commissioned to write the score for this new work, his first composition for ballet. Elfman's previous work includes scores for "The Simpsons", "Chicago" and "Edward Scissorhands". Fashion designer Norma Kamali will create the costumes.
