The legendary Russian ballerina Natalia Makarova dancing the role she managed to make all her own, Giselle. She emmegrated to England in 1970, and although she danced the part several times between 1961 and 1970 with both the Kirov Ballet and The American Ballet Theatre, I believe this is the television version shot for PBS in 1977. Wonderful stuff!
