A showcase of contemporary dance, FireFives by Singapore Dance Theatre bring you not five, but six short contemporary dances:

Breath of Love is a passionate dance set to medieval Spanish music.

Solitaire explores the myriad of emotions and expressions that ricochet through the mind and body of a dancer as she embraces the emptiness of her surrounding.

La Rose Malade is a graceful and gently elegant ode to the rose.

Excerpt from Why Not? is an explosive four and a half minutes of dance first staged in Ballet Under the Stars in '96, and not to be missed.

Fanfare was created as a special tribute to Goh Choo San and is another masterpiece of intricate choreography by Graham Lustig.

Piano Concerto No.2, Opus 102 will be familiar music to anyone who has seen Disney's Fantasia 2000. The choreography twinned with it is fast and exciting. featuring 7 female and 9 male dancers.

The performances are on 26 and 27 September 2008 at the NUS University Cultural Centre
